AT&T announced that it will release its Garnet Red version of Samsung’s Galaxy S III on 29 July and pre-order can pre-order now. The Garnet Red S III is an AT&T exclusive and the Pebble Blue and Marble White versions are also available from AT&T. The handset is Samsung’s latest Galaxy flagship. Unlike the international version powered by a Samsung Exynos 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, AT&T’s model sports a Qualcomm 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 2GB RAM, and adds supports for Dual-Band 4/17 LTE network.

The Galaxy S III features a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED 1280×720 touchscreen display, a 8 Megapixel main camera and a 1.9 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB of internal storage and supports up to 64GB microSD/SDHC memory card. As for connectivity, you can expect GPS, Bluetooth, DLNA and WiFi. The phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. Samsung also adds some unique features, including S Voice, Buddy Photo Share, Direct Call, S Beam.

The Garnet Red Galaxy S III will be available on 29 July for $199.99 with a 2-year contract.
