Griffin launches the MIDIConnect MIDI in/out interface for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. By adding a MIDI input and output to iOS devices, the MIDIConnect allows users to connect MIDI keyboard or other MIDI-capable devices to iPhone/iPod touch/iPad. With the device, you can play MIDI instrument into MIDI-capable apps such as GarageBand. You can also use the MIDI Controller apps to transform the iOS device into a MIDI controller.
The MIDIConnect connects to your iOS device with a 9-inch 30-pin dock connector cable, and offers 5-pin DIN MIDI in and MIDI out ports. It is priced at $79.99.
