GreatCall, a Verizon MVNO, launches the Samsung Jitterbug Plus senior-friendly clamshell mobile phone. The phone offes a long standby time of up to 25 days. Don’t expect touchscreen and super fine camera, yet the clamshell still sports a 2.2-inch color display inside and a 1.3-inch color outer display, 1.3 Megapixel camera, and a speakerphone for clear and loud conversation.
The Jitterbug Plus has large buttons with backlit and simple YES” or “NO” buttons. The handset offers one-touch photo sharing to social networking sites such as Facebook. It is compatible with GreatCall’s 5Star Urgent Response, and users can dial 0 to reach a GreatCall Operator who can help manage Calendar or Phone Book.
Samsung Jitterbug Plus is available for $199 and comes in silver and red.
