Samsung announced in the UK a new long-zoom digital camera. Known as WB100, the camera sports a 26x optical zoom lens with 22.3mm ultra-wide angle. The 16 Megapixel camera features ISO 80 – 1600 sensitivity, Optical and Digital dual image stabilization, 3D Photo shooting and Live Panorama Mode.
The WB100 supports 720p HD video recording. It also comes with Smart Filter and Magic Frame creative features for a fun shooting experience. Samsung’s long-zoom camera has a metallic design and has soft hand grip. Instead of li-ion battery, the WB100 uses AA batteries, making it an ideal camera for travelers.
Samsung has yet to announce pricing and availability.
