The display is based professional-grade PLS panel panel and offers 285cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio Mega dynamic contrast ratio and 178/178-degree viewing angle. It uses power-saving LED-backlight.
The sleek S27B970D has a slim profile and slim bezel and a solid metal frame. It includes Samsung MagicAngle, MagicBright3 and MagicColor to deliver true to life colors. Other than Dual-link DVI and HDMI, the monitor also has MHL connector for connecting MHL-enabled tablets and smartphones easily. It also has two USB 2.0 ports. A tiltable and height adjustable stand is included.
