ZTE announced the Grand X LTE (T82), its first single-chip LTE smartphone, at the CommunicAsia2012. The handset utilizes Qualcomm’s 0.28nm MSM8960 chip for faster and more energy efficient performance. The T82 boasts a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Grand X LTE is equipped with a 8 Megapixel camera with 1080p Full HD video recording and a front camera that supports 720p HD video calls. The phone packs a 1900mAh battery. It has a buttonless design. ZTE will release the single-chip LTE phone in Q3 2012 in Asia Pacific and Europe.
Along with the Grand X LTE, ZTE also brings the V96A LTE tablet; the MF91, which is the world’s first TD-LTE/EDGE multi-band UFi product; and the MF821 LTE wireless network card. The V96A will be released in Q3.
