SanDisk introduced four new USB flash drives, including the USB 3.0-enabled Extreme and three Cruzer drives. Each of these drives has its unique features to fit your needs. All drives come with the SanDisk SecureAccess software that provides 128-bit AES file encryption and password protection to protect your files.
First of all, the Exreme USB flash drive uses the latest USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface to transfer files up to 10 times faster with a speed of up to 190MB/s. According to SanDisk, the drive can transfer 3GB file in 20 seconds. It is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities and starts at $64.99.
The Cruzer Glide is SanDisk’s highest-capacity USB drive, featuring up to 128GB capacity. Like the Extreme USB 3.0, the Glide has a sliding USB connector, so you don’t have to worry about losing the cap anymore. The 128GB Cruzer Glide will be released in Q3 for $249.99.
The Cruzer Facet and the Cruzer Pop are stylish USB flash drives designed for young users. The former has a durable stainless-steel casing designed with a variety of rich vibrant colors and a faceted texture while the Pop, SanDisk’s thinnest flash drive, features rich colors and patterns, and a unique design that opens with a “pop” and conceals and protects the connector when not in use. The Facet and Pop both come in 8GB to 32GB capacities with price tag of $32.99 to $84.99.
