Along with the tipo and tipodual, Sony also adds to the Xperia line the Xperia miro, a slim, stylish smartphone with deep Facebook integration with contacts, gallery and music player for easy sharing. The miro, like the tipo, is boosted by Qualcomm’s SnapDragon MSM7225A 800MHz processor with 512MB of RAM. It features a 3.5-inch 320×480 touchscreen and a 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera for video chat with friends. The phone will launch on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Sony’s miro includes xLOUD audio enhancement and supports DLNA that allows you to stream media content from the phone to a bigger screen HDTV wirelessly. It has customizable illumination under the three Android keys to notify you of incoming messages and social updates. The Xperia handset supports Bluetooth, aGPS and WiFI connectivity. It gets 2.2GB user-accessible memory and supports microSD/SDHC cards up to 32GB.
The Xperia miro will come in Q3 in black, black/pink, white and white/gold colors. It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band UMTS HSPA 900, 2100 3G networks (UMTS HSPA 850, 1900, 2100 for American version).
