Along with the TW635-3D and TX635-3D, Optoma also introduced the TW556-3D projector for entry-level boardroom and classroom market. Equipped with Texas Instruments’ Single 0.65″ DMD DLP display engine, the projector offers 1280×800 resolution. It comes with a 190W Philips lamp, delivering 2800 ANSI lumens brightness and 10,000:1 contrast ratio.
The TW556-3D includes the Eco+ mode that will enhance the brightness level of the content and reduce the lamp intensity to match the scene, thus reducing power consumption and increasing lamp life (up to 6500 hours). The projector is 3D-capable with the ability to show 3D content from 3D-capable computers. It provides HDMI 1.3, two VGA-in, VGA-out, S-video, composite video, RS-232, and a USB port. There is built-in 2-watt speaker.
