Otterbox Defender Series
Otterbox launches the Defener series and Commuter series protective cases for HTC’s One X smartphone. The former, according to the company, enables technology to go just about anywhere – on the construction site, military base or to the top of a mountain; while the latter is a case that combines protection with style. Both cases feature a multi-player design and offers full access to all buttons and features.
Otterbox Commuter Series
The Defender is designed rugged protection for the most demanding conditions. It features a three layer protection – a two-piece polycarbonate inner layer with memory foam liner to cushion the One X from drops, thumps and bumps, a rugged outer silicon layer that wraps around the inner polycarbonate layer for unified defense, and a screen protector built in to the polycarbonate layer to protect the touchscreen. It also comes with a holster with rotating belt clip that can also be used as a viewing stand.
The Commuter Series offers two layers of semi-rugged protection, featuring a silicone innter layer that surrounds the HTC One X to form a cushion against impact, and a smooth outer polycarbonate layer. A clear self-adhering film is also included to protect the screen. Screen cleaning cloth and bubble squeegee are also bundled.
The Defender Series and Commuter Series are priced at $49.95 and $34.95.
