Samsung adds to its notebook range the new 15.6-inch Series 5 and 14-inch Series 500 notebooks, both powered by the latest 3rd gen Intel Core (Ivy Bridge) processors. They both sport NVIDIA GeForce GT630M graphics and come with 1366×768 LCD display.

The 15.6-inch Series 5 (model NP550P5C-T01US) is boosted by Core i703610QM processor while the 14-inch Series 5 500 (model NP500P4C-S01US) boasts a Core i5-3210M, and both of them have 8GB of RAM. They have 500GB and 750GB hard drive, respectively. You can also find WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and 1.3 Megapixel webcam. The starting price is $799.99 for Series 5 500 and $899.99 for Series 5.
Other than the new models, Samsung will also updates its 13.3-inch and 15-inch second-generation Series 9, the 13-inch and 14-inch Series 5 ULTRA and Series 3 laptops with the latest Intel Ivy Bridge processors beginning in mid-June 2012.
