Olympus will release in Summer the new M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75mm f1.8 Portrait Lens for its OM-D and PEN system cameras. As a Micro Four Thirds lens, the lens has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 150mm. It has a optical design of 10 individual lens elements in 9 groups, including a total of 3 ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses to correct aberrations and 2 HR lenses. These elements also come with Olympus’ ZERO (ZUIKO Extra-low Reflection Optical Coating) lens coatings to reduce reflectance.
The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75mm f1.8 lens sports MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) autofocusing mechanism with an inner focus system for fast and quiet focusing. It gets a metallic focus ring. The lens will be available in Summer for $899.99.
