Motorola introduces the new MOTOACTV Gold Edition, which, as its name tells, is a GPS tracker intended for gold players. The device allows you to track up to 20,000 courses worldwide. Thanks to GPS, the MOTOACTV tracks the front, center and back distances to green and to hazards, and there is a virtual caddy that keeps track of your scorecards, clubs and key statistics.
You can also upload your rounds and records wirelessly to MOTOACTV.com for virtual representation of your round using a satellite view of the course, and compare with rounds from the Pros.
The MOTOACTV, as you may know, is a multi-functional GPS tracking device. It has a 1.6-inch sweat-proof, rain-resistant touchscreen, built-in FM radio and support for Bluetooth and ANT+ wireless. It can be paired with Android smartphones.
Motorola’s MOTOACTV Golf Edition is priced at $299.99 and will be shipped on 1 April.
