Maingear introduces its first all-in-one PC, the powerful Solo 21 designed to offer performance of full-size desktop computer in a more space-saving form factor. The Solo 21 is a fully upgradable all-in-one that conforms to Intel Thin Mini-ITX standards, meaning even the motherboard is upgradeable.

The base model is powered by Intel’s Core i3-2125 processor with 4GB of RAM, which can be upgraded to up to Core i7-2600S and 16GB of memory. The all-in-one, however, comes with only integrated Intel HD graphics instead of dedicated graphics card. It can be equipped with 500GB – 2TB hard drive and sports 32GB mSATA SSD caching drive that can accelerate the performance of your hard drive by up to 5-8X. If the DVD burner is not enough for you, Blu-ray burner option is available for you.

Maingear Solo 21 All-in-one PC angle

Maingear’s Solo 21, in addition to Gigabit Ethernet, supports WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. It also comes with integrated HD audio, multi-in-one card reader. You can also add the optional Ceton InfiniTV USB Quad Stream CableCARD M-Card Tuner. The 21.5-inch LED-backlit display has Full HD 1080p resolution, and you may want to add 10-point touch interface.

The Maingear Solo 21 starts at $999. You can also stylize the Solo 21 by adding colorful exterior finish for $249. Choices include burple, citrus fire, frost white, fusion blue, organic green, rosso red and even custom color.
