Motorola brings the new DEFY XT535 rugged smartphone for consumers with an active lifestyle in China. The new model is relatively more stylish than its DEFY brothers but retains its ruggedness. The XT535 IP67-certified for waterproof and dust-proof, and comes with scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass display. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7227A 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM.
The DEFY XT535 features a 3.7-inch 854×480 touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash, a front camera for video chat, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. It gets 1GB ROM and supports microSD/SDHC memory cards. The handset also supports WiFi direct and DLNA. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and includes the MotoSwitch user interface and SHOP4APPS China, Motorola’s own app market designed specifically for users in China.
