Optoma’s ZW210ST and ZX210ST are not the only LED-Laser hybrid projectors. Acer also brings the K520 projector that use hybrid LED-laser light source technology. According to Acer, the hybrid light source provides improved color brightness than mercury lamps and offers up to 20,000 hours of use. The projector features 1024×768 XGA resolution, 2000 lumens brightness, and DynamicBlack 100,000:1 contrast ratio.
With 40-degree vertical keystone correction, the Acer K520 project on uneven surfaces. It supports 3D projection. The K520 provides HDMI, VGA, Composite, component inputs. It is an eco-friendly projector featuring EcoProjection, an environment-friendly power management suite, and ExtremeECO mode for advanced lamp power control and reduced power consumption of up to 90%.
