China Telecom is launching the Samsung Galaxy S II DUOS SCH-i929, a dual-network variant of the Galaxy S II. The phone supports both CDMA EVDO Rev.A and GSM mobile networks and is capable of dual-standby. The i929 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM and runs Android 2.3 with TouchWiz 4.0 user interface.
The Galaxy S II DUOS features a 8 Megapixel camera with Full HD video recording and a 2 Megapixel front camera for video chat. It has a 4.52-inch 800×480 Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen. The dual-network Galaxy S II supports Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n as well as GPS. If the internal 16GB storage space is not enough, you can use microSD/SDHC up to 32GB. Intended for Chinese market, the Android phoneis pre-loaded with QQ.
The Samsung Galaxy S II DUOS ust 9.8mm thick and weighs 132g, which is slightly thicker and heavier than the Galaxy S II i9100. Chinese professional tennis player Li Na is the spokesperson of this dual-network smartphone.
