Acer S271HL-bid, S235HL-bii, S230HL-Abd, S230HL-Abii and S200HL-Abd Ultra Slim Displays
Acer launches five new ultra slim LCD displays, ranging from 20-inch to 27-inch screen sizes. Except the 20-inch S200HL-Abd with 1600×900 resolution, all other models have Full HD resolution. They all use LED-backlight, and feature 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 250cd/m2 brightness.
The 23-inch S235HL-bii is the winner of the 2012 iF product design award. It has a razor-slim profile just over 0.5-inch and a minimalist modern look. The slim display has one VGA and HDMI ports. The price is $219.
Acer S271HL-bid
The S271HL-bid is the 27-inch model. It also has Full HD resolution and provides DVI and HDMI ports. It is also VESA compliant for easy mounting to a wall. Coming in April, the display will be priced at $329.
Acer S230HL-Abii
The S230HL-Abd and S230HL-Abii are 23-inch LCD displays with 1920×1080 Full HD resolution. The former has one VGA and one DVI inputs while the latter offers one VGA and two HDMI inputs. The S230HL-Abd costs $169 and S230HL-Abii is priced at $189.
The $139 S200HL-Abd is the smallest model with 1600×900 resolution. It comes with a rounded glossy, porcelain-like stand. You can get one for $89.99.
