Tired of doorbell’s ding-dong sound? What if the doorbell actually plays your favorite music. Security equipment company Swann brings the MP3 DJ Doorbell, a customizable wireless doorbell that stores and plays music, instead of ding-dong, when the doorbell is pressed. The system has two components, a speaker unit and a push button doorbell unit.
Installation is easy. Use included double sided adhesive to attach the push button doorbell unit by the front door and either mount the speaker on your living area wall with screws or position it on top of a credenza. When the doorbell is pressed, it begins to play your favorite music. The system operates completely wirelessly, and has a wireless range of up to 330ft/100m. Both units are battery-powered, meaning there’s no need to run wiring of any kind.
The MP3 DJ Doorbell uses SD card to store music and supports up to 32GB card. With built-in control, the speaker unit can also be used as a on-the-wall or portable music player. It comes with MP3 editing software and a USB cable for transferring music from PC to the SD card. The wireless music doorbell system is available for $49.99.
