In addition to the Eluga, Panasonic also announced at the Eluga Power smartphone for the European market. As its name tells, the Eluga Power will be more powerful than its little brother. Boosted by Qualcomm’s SnapDragon S4 dual-core 1.5GHz processor, the handset runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It features a slim form factor measuring just 9.6mm thick and is a lightweight big-screen device at just 133g.
The Eluga Power sports a 5-inch 1280x720p LCD touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel auto focus camera with Full HD 1080p video recording, auto scene recognition, and a front-facing camera for video chat. The smartphone has 8GB internal memory and supports microSD/SDHC cards up to 32GB. The Eluga Power supports NFC for contactless payment and data transfer, in addition to GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. Like the Eluga, it meets IP57 standard for waterproof and dustproof.
The Panasonic ELUGA Power is equipped with a 1800mAh battery and the phone supports superfast recharging that will rejuice that battery by 50% in just 30 minutes and 80% in 57 minutes.
