Other than those high-end models such as Ascend D series (D for Diamond) and Ascend P series (P for Platinum), Huawei will also launch the mid-range Ascend G300 (G stands for Gold). Boasting a 1GHz single-core processor, the phone will be loaded with Android 2.3 with future upgrade to Android 4.0. It has a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen and a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera.
The Ascend G300 supports WCDMA/HSPA 7.2Mbps and quad-band GSM/EDGE mobile networks. It also supports WIFi 802.11b/g/n with WiFi Firect, GPS and Bluetooth. For better voice experience, the G300 is equipped with dual-mic and DTS.
