Adlink Technology introduces its new Matrix MXE-5300 Series fanless embedded computer based on Intel’s 2nd generation Core series Sandy Bridge processors. The rugged computer features performance-enhancing mechanical and thermal design, such customized copper conduits to enhance thermal dissipation efficiency, memory and storage stabilizers to withstand the challenges of high-vibration environments, and an anodized aluminum alloy chassis to prevent corrosion.
The MXE-5300 Series can be equipped with up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and either 320GB hard drive or 8GB/32GB/64GB SSD. According to Adlink, the embedded computer is able to operate at temperature range of up to -20 degrees C to 70 degrees C with reliable performance. It has one onboard SATA 6Gbps for hard drive/SSD, two PCI-E Mini card sockets, an external CFast socket, Four Gigabit Ethernet LAN port (one of them has Team Support), two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports as well as two software-programmable RS-232/422/485 (COM1&2) and two RS-232 (COM3&4), and 4 DI & 4DO w/ 1.5KV isolation.
The Matrix MXE-5300 supports Intel Active Management 7.0, for remote system management. WCDMA 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, AGPS, and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n connectivity are available as options.
