Velocity Micro is launching the VMUltra Drive, an ideal all-in-one companion for notebook. It combines a DVD burner, a 2.5-inch 500GB hard drive and SD card as well as USB hub into a single compact device. The device has three USB 2.0 ports.
The VMUltra is probably the only thing mobile workers need to bring along with their notebooks. It has full plug-and-play support. Velocity Micro is planning to release the device later this year. Described as “perfect all-in-one peripheral”, it will be more perfect if USB 3.0 ports is offered instead of USB 2.0.
