Etymotic ETY-Kids3
Etymotic launches the new ETY-Kids safe-listening earphones for kids aged 4 or above. The earphones are enginnered for safe sound output while maintaining Etymotic’s exceptional sound quality. According to the company, using the ETY-Kids earphones, even at the maximum volume setting on portable players, kids can listen safely for up to four hours per day. As earphones block background noise, and provide high-definition sound quality, kids will be able to hear every detail, and won’t complain that the volume is too low.

The ETY-Kids is available in two version, the ETY-Kids3 three-button control headset with mic designed to work with Apple products, and the ETY-Kids5 universal earphone that works with any portable device. The former features AWARENESS! for Etymotic, an app that “listens” to users’ surroundings and mixes any noise louder than normal background sounds directly into the earphones, so kids can hear traffic, announcements or any other important sounds while they are listening. The earphones comes with ACCU-Fit eartips to ensure a good fit in small ears.
The ETY-Kids3 and ETY-Kids5 are priced at $79 and $49, respectively.
