Panasonic releases the LUMIX DMC-FX90, a slim, compact digital camera with integrated WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. Dubbed as a communication camera, the FX90 is able to upload images taken with the camera to social services such as Facebook, Flickr, Picasa or YouTube via WiFI connection. Images can also be transferred to users’ PC wirelessly. The camera has a dedicated WiFi button for instant access.
The LUMIX FX90 is a 12.1 Megapixel camera with a 24mm wide angle LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMARIT lens with 5x optical zoom and F2.5. It is equipped with Venus Engine with advanced signal processing capabilities. The camera features Panasonic’s signature iA (Intelligent Auto) mode that offers MEGA O.I.S image stabilizer, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Exposure, AF Tracking functions that helps you capture not only beatiful images but also videos. The Panasonic FX90 supports HD video recording at 1,920 x 1,080 60i resolution in AVCHD format. It has a 3-inch Touchscreen LCD display for easy operation and offers micro HDMI output. The camera uses SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. You can get the camera for $279.
