China Mobile is getting its own version of Motorola RAZR, the MT917 that supports the carrier’s TD-SCDMA 3G network. The phone is powered by a dual-core 1.2Ghz processor with 1GB of RAM, and will be loaded with Android 2.3 operating system. It comes with a large 4.5-inch 1280×720 touchscreen with a 330 ppi resolution protected by scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass.
The MT917 has a 13 Megapixel main camera with 1080p Full HD video recording and a front camera for video chat. The Chinese RAZR measures just 8.5mm and protected by KEVLAR fiber, a zinc frame and splash guard coating inside and out. China Mobile will release the Motorola MT917 in mid-December.
As you may know, the other version of RAZR for China market is the XT928 for China Telecom‘s CDMA network.
