Netgear launches two new network attached storage systems (NAS), the ReadyNAS Duo v2 and ReadyNAS NV+ v2 fir home and small business users. The 2-bay Duo v2 and 4-bay NV+ v2 both include hot-swap disk drive bays and automatic capacity expansion. They also have USB 3.0 ports for faster backup and transfer rate.
The ReadyNAS Duo v2 and ReadyNAS NV+ v2 are powered by 1.6GHz processor with 256MB of memory. They support 3.5-inch desktop hard drives and are available as diskless chassis or with up to 4TB of storage. Coming in 13 November, the ReadyNAS Duo v2 and ReadyNAS NV+ v2 starts at $199 and $399 respectively.
