Bose SoundLink Wireless Mobile Speaker

Bose announced its SoundLink wireless mobile speakers that uses Bluetooth to connect wirelessly with Bluetooth-enabled audio sources, such as notebook, tablet, smartphone. The SoundLink sports four low-profile neodymium transducers for clear high- and mid-frequencies, and new dual-opposing passive radiators for rich, deep, low notes.

Bose’s SoundLink delivers full range audio from a single, hand-held enclosure and measures less than 2-inch thick. It supports Bluetooth A2DP standard for wireless music streaming and packs a powerful antenna for a reliable wireless audio connection. The six most recently used Bluetooth devices are stored in memory, eliminating the need to pair again. It has integrated cover that unfolds into a stand.

The wireless speaker comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that allows more than eight hours at typical listening levels. It was tested in Bose environmental labs to resist salt-fog, sand, wind, and moisture. Using end-caps made from automotive-grade chrome, it will survive being dropped — repeatedly. The SoundLink Wireless Mobile speaker comes with a standard trim level and a dark gray Cordura nylon cover for $299.95, or in the LX model, with a premium trim level and a dark brown leather cover for $349.95.
