As you may know, HTC has partnered with and invested in Beats Audio. Now, the cellphone maker announced its first phone with integrated Beats Audio, the HTC Sensation XE, an upgrade to the original Sensation. To offer a Beats Audio experience — a combination of software and hardware, the phone comes inbox with custom made Beats headsets, engineered to deliver extraordinary sound; and is pre-loaded with specially tuned software and user interface.
The Sensation XE is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 768MB of memory and 1GB usable internal storage. It features a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen with qHD (540 X 960) resolution, a 8 Megapixel camera with auto focus, dual LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording, a front-facing VGA camera, built-in GPS support, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity as well as a microSD card slot for expansion. The Android device sports gyro sensor, G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor as well.
Running Android 2.3, the HTC Sensation XE includes HTC Sense UI and supports WIFi tethering. It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and HSPA/WCDMA networks.
