iPort’s new launched LaunchPort is an inductive charging and mounting system for the iPad 2. The system includes the PowerShuttle, a sleeve-style, soft touch black case with inductive charging; the BaseStation table top mounting and charging station; and the WallStation that mounts the iPad 2 on the wall.

The PowerShuttle features a uilt-in wave guide for the iPad 2 speaker that allows the sound to be directed back at you for a better media experience and a mini USB port for charging and syncing. It contain magnet so it can be mounted to any metallic surface. Both BaseStation and WallStation and inductive charger designed to use with the PowerShuttle case. The former is a table top charger made of brush aluminum while the WallStation securely mounts and charges iPad 2 on the wall.
Thanks to magnetc mounting, the LaunchPort system provides effortless mounting and charging. As soon as the PowerShuttle is docked to the WallStation or BaseStation, the system starts charging the iPad 2 wirelessly. Coming in Q4, the PowerShuttle is priced at $149, the BaseStation and WallStation both at $199.
