Lenovo adds to its ThinkPad Edge line the new E425 and E525 models for small-to-medium businesses (SMB). The new Edge laptops project a smart, polished image with new soft finishes available in color choices of heatwave red or midnight black. They are 13 percent slimmer than previous versions.
The 14-inch E425 and 15.6-inch E525 are powered by AMD’s A-Series APU up to AMD A8-3500M processor with integrated AMD Redeon discrete-class graphics. They sport up to 8GB RAM and 750GB hard drive storage. You can expect LED-backlit LCD display, DVD burmer, HD webcam, microphone, multi-in-one card reader, HDMI and optional fingerprint reader. WiFi connectivity is also available. Like most ThinkPad laptops, the new Edge models have spill-resistant keyboard and the iconic TrackPoint.
Lenovo’s ThinkPad Edge E425 and E525 will out on 16 August starting at $549.
