Sprint announced the launch of the Samsung Conquer 4G, the carrier’s first 4G smartphone to launch at less than $100 enabling Sprint customers to experience industry-leading features without breaking the bank. The Conquer 4G is an Android 2.3 smartphone powered by a 1GHz MSM8655 Snapdragon processor. The phone has a 3.5-inch 320×480 touchscreen, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with flsah and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera. It supports Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi connectivity and supports both 3G CDMA EVDO and 4G WiMax networks.
Sprint’s Samsung Conquer 4G includes Mobile Hotspot functionality allowing users to share 3G/4G connection to up to five WiFi devices. It has a microSD card for expansion. The affordable 4G smartphone is priced at $99.99 with a new two-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate.
