Pelican introduces its new 1075 HardBack Case to provide rugged protection for netbooks and tablets such as iPad/iPad 2. Designed as watertight/crush-resistant armor for tablet style computers and netbooks, the case was developed in a unique partnership between Pelican and BMW Designworks (a division of BMW). Built with high strength ABS, the case is dustproof, crushproof and watertight.
The 1075 HardBack fits devices up to 10-inch. The i1075 iPad model is equipped with a molded liner that adds impact shock protection and will not scratch your tablet, and an integrated easel for hands-free viewing in horizontal or vertical position. If you are using a netbook, you can choose the 1075CC with a shock absorbing liner or the 1075 that comes with the customizable Pick N Pluck foam.
The case’s tongue-and-groove lid construction and polymer o-ring creates a watertight seal and its built-in, automatic pressure equalization valve keeps moisture out and makes it easier to open the case at any altitude.
