Iomega launches its new Mac Companion Hard Drive with a style matching the latest Mac computers. Based on 3.5-inch 7200RPM hard drive, Iomega’s new drive is available in 2TB and 3TB capacities and is formatted HFS+ for ease of use right out of the box.
The Mac Companion has two FireWire 800 ports and one USB 2.0 port. It has integrated 2-port USB hub, and a high-powered 2.1 Amp USB port for charging iPad, iPhone and iPod as well as other USB-powered devices. The space-saving design of the Mac Companion Hard Drive allows it to fit perfectly on the base of your Apple iMac or your Apple monitor.
The price is $195 for 2TB and $295 for 3TB.
