Drift Innovation launches the new Drift HD point of view camera, which “elevates the point of view camera market to a higher level with the most feature-rich, multi-functional helmet camera available to date.” The durable and compact camera features a 300-degree rotating lens and 179-degree field of view. It has a water resistant casing.
The Drift HD supports professional-grade 1080p/30fps and 720p/60fps HD video recording as well 8 Megapixel still image shooting. It has a water resistant casing and comes with second rear cover to protect the camera when using an external mic or a USB charger. The Drift HD comes with a 1.5-inch LCD display, built-in microphone and speaker, 2.5mm Mono Plug input, LED recording indicator and micro HDMI connector.
The camera supports multiple mounting options and standard 20 mm thread for tripod. Coming on 31 August, the Drift HD is priced at $369. It comes with universal clip, velcro strap, goggle mount and a remote control.
