Motorola releases in China its MT870, the world’s first dual-core TD-SCDMA 3G smartphone. Made for China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA 3G network, the 4-inch device runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and comes pre-loaded with the Mobile Market-SHOP4APPS application store offering huge range of applications and services designed especially for Chinese people and an easy shopping experience.
The Motorola MT870 is boosted by a dual-core 1GHz processor. It features a 4-inch qHD 960×540 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera with built-in LED flash, GPS/A-GPS support as well as DLNA, WiFi and HDMI. The phone comes pre-loaded with multi-media Sticky Notes, business card and text scanning, and other business applications, and supports China Mobile’s services including Fetion, TeleNav, 139 Mail, CMMB, etc. It also comes with new Quickoffice suite.
