Lenovo launches its first ThinkCentre Edge PC, the 91z all-in-one desktop PC with a compact body. According to Lenovo, the Edge 91z is one of the slimmest yet most powerful all-in-one measuring just 2.5-inch thick. It is an office or home tool for small-to-medium businesses, education customers and power professionals looking for style and high performance with the convenience of a small footprint.
The ThinkCentre Edge 91z features a 21.5-inch glossy HD Infinity 1920×1200 LED-backlit display. It is boosted by Intel’s Core i7 quad core processors, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 80GB SSD or 1TB hard drive and optional dedicated 1GB AMD Radeon HD6650A graphics card. With Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7, it boots 30 percent faster than non-optimized models, and with RapidDrive on optional solid state drive models, users can shave off up to 20 seconds of boot time.
Lenovo’s 21.5-inch AIO comes with a 2 Megapixel webcam, a 6-in-1 card reader, optional Blu-ray DVD combo drive, HDMI connector and WiFi connectivity. Coming in July, the ThinkCentre Edge 91z starts at $699.
