Corsair launches two new Builder Series power supplies units, the CX500 V2 and CX430 V2. Both models offer 80 PLUS certification and European Commission Energy-Related Product (ErP) directive compliance for guaranteed efficiency and low standby power consumption.
Designed for entry-level to midrange home system builds and desktop PC upgrades, these CX V2 models offer a great value along with low noise and dependable, continuous power delivery. They are equipped with ultra-quiet 120mm fan for excellent airflow at low noise levels. The CX500 V2 and CX430 V2 support latest ATX12V v2.3 standard and is backward compatible with ATX12V 2.2 and ATX12V 2.01 systems, and offer dedicated single +12V rail offers maximum compatibility with the latest components and 0.99 Active Power Factor Correction that provides clean and reliable power.
The Builder Series power supplies provide universal AC input from 90 – 264V. The 500W CX500 V2 is priced at $64 and the 430W CX430 V2 costs $49.
