Silicon Dust launches the HDHomeRun Prime, a cable TV for computers. Simply connect the HDHomeRun Prime to home router, you can access it from any computer, anywhere in your home. The HDHomeRun tuner lets you watch and record TV programs with full 1080i broadcast resolution anywhere you have a computer.
The HDHomeRun Prime supports CableCARD conditional access, allowing users to watch and record all digital cable channels by inserting an M-Card from cable provider. It works with Windows 7 Windows Media Center and XBox 360, providing the full DVR experience.
Two models are available, the $249.99 HDHR3-CC with three tuners and the $499.99 HDHR3-6CC-3X2 with six tuners.
