IO-DATA BRD-U8S External 3D Blu-ray Combo Drive

Japanese company IO-DATA will release in early June the BRD-U8S external 3D Blu-ray combo drive that supports playback of 3D Blu-ray movie. The drive use USB interface and comes with 4MB buffer memory. The BRD-U8S writes BD-R and BD-R DL at 8x, BD-RE at 2x as well as DVD+/-R at 16x, DVD+/-R DL at 8x, DVD-RAM at 12x, DVD+RW at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x as well as CD-R/RW at up to 48x.

The IO-DATA BRD-U8S measures 158W x 220Dx 50H mm and weighs 1.2kg. It is priced at 18,900 Yen.
