In addition to the new OPS line, Tachyon will also released in July its new Micro and Micro HD waterproof helmet cameras. WIth integrated waterproof design and Dive-Lock Switch that prevents water pressure from shutting down video, these helmet cameras let you shoot underwater to a depth of 100 Feet (or 30.5 Meters) without the need for an external waterproof case. The design also protects against spray, mud, grease, rain, and snow. It also includes a patented shock proofing system that ensures your camera will not shut down.
The Micro records SD video at 30fps while the Micro HD captures 720p HD video at 30fps and they include time-lapse photo function that takes an image every 2 seconds. Both of them use microSD/SDHC for storage. They come with an universal mount, a tripod adapter, paintball/airsoft armor, and 3M Dual Lock Fastener 8″.
Coming in July, the Tachyon Micro and Micro HD head cams are priced at $89.99 and $139.99 respectively.
