Lenovo announced its new Thinkpad T420s notebook PC featuring the RapidBoot Extreme technology. The RapidBoot Extreme, part of Lenovo‘s Enhanced Experience (EE) 2.0 for Windows 7 program, combines proprietary BIOS and hardware optimizations and Solid State Drive technology, allowing the system to boot up in 10 seconds or less.
The ThinkPad T420s is boosted by second gen Intel Core processors up to Core i7-2620M 2.7GHz with up to 8GB of RAM. It comes with a 14-inch display and Dolby Home Theater surround sound technology. The RapidBoot Extreme model of the ThinkPad T420s laptop will be offered starting in mid-May starting at $1,679.
