A company called Amped Wireless launches the UA600EX, a high-power wireless-N 600mW Pro USB adapter designed to extend indoor/outdoor WiFi range of your Mac or Windows PC. According to the company, the adapter achieve up to four times the wireless range of standard wireless networking adapters, with its 600mW wireless power amplifier and a high gain directional antenna.
The UA600EX adapter is weatherproof, working both indoors and outdoors and comes with a heavy duty 26.5 feet USB cable that makes indoor or outdoor installations easy. It works with WiFi 802.11b/g/n standard and needs two USB ports for maximum performance. The price is $109.99.
