UK company Crystal Acoustics launches a compact HD media player, the Pico5.1 HD that looks more like a multi-in-1 memory card reader. The player supports media playback from SD/SDHC cards and from USB storage devices and it supports FAT, FAT32 and NTFS file systems.
As for media format supported, the Pico5.1 HD can handle most media files including MKV, DivX, MP3, FLAC, JPG and BMP. As its name tells, the device offers 5.1-channel surround sound and decodes Dolby Digital and DTS audio. It offers HDMI output.
Crystal Acoustics has released the PicoHD5.1 HD for GBP49.95.
