Ideum announced its new MT55 HD, a 55-inch multitouch table, which is basically a fully integrated system with an LCD display, multitouch overlay, ultra clear tempered glass, powerful computer, UPS battery backup, and integrated cooling cell. It is also equipped with Bose Audio System.
The MT55 HD features 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, LED backlight, 4,000,000:1 contrast ratio and solid state optical multitouch system with 32 points of simultaneous touch input. The pedestal houses most components including the PC and the surface is just 3-inch thick. Both the pedestal and top surface are built-in aluminum and steel. The integtared computer system is boosted by Intel’s Core i7 quad-core 2.93GHz processor, 4GB RAM, NVIDIA Quadro 600 1GB graphics card, and dual 250GB hard drive.
The Ideum MT55 HD is 31-inch tall, matching ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements. The table supports Bluetooth, Ethernet, WiFi connectivity and offers HDMI output and USB ports. It comes with GestureWorks for Flash and Flex.
