Eye-Fi launches the new Eye-Fi Mobile X2 8GB wireless SDHC memory card that wirelessly connects the camera to a mobile device for instant photo upload. The new X2 Eye-Fi card supports the Direct Mode that can create a direct connection to the mobile device, allowing device-to-device transfers.
With the Direct Mode and the new Android and iPhone apps, users can now send photos and videos directly from their digital camera to the Eye-Fi app on their smartphone or tablet. The Eye-Fi Mobile X2 SD card is available for $79.99.
