Apogee introduces its new Duet 2 audio interface designed to turn your Mac into a professional recording studio. The device features “completely redesigned” mic preamps, an OLED display and two configurable touhpads. It has two input and four outputs as well as independent headphone and speaker outs. The Duet 2 supports 24-bit/192kHz recording and comes with a new breakout cable that is greatly streamlined with 2 combination mic/instrument connectors (XLR and 1/4”) built into a single connector and 2 balanced 1/4” connectors for speakers.
Coming in May, the Duet 2 will be available for $595. It comes with Maestro 2 control software.
