Toshiba launches its 14-inch USB Mobile LCD monitor (model PA3923U-1LC3) with DisplayLink technology that allows the monitor’s power and video to be powered via USB, eliminating the need to carry an AC adapter or video cable. The monitor is ideal for users who want to add an additional/secondary screen to any Windows-based laptop at work, school or home.
The 14-inch display has 1366×768 native resolution, 220cd/m2 brightness, 400:1 contrast ratio, 16ms response time and 256k colors. Thanks to DisplayLink technology, the monitor gets video input and power directly from USB, so no VGA/DVI/HDMI video cable required. It comes with a hybrid carry case/stand.
Toshiba’s 14-inch USB display is available for $199.
