Sprint has just announced the new HTC EVO 3D, America’s first 4G smartphone with a 4.3 inch 3D QHD display that allows you to view 3D without having to wear 3D glasses. The EVO 3D has a similar design like the original EVO 4G. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm SnapDragon processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal memory; and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with HTC Sense.
The HTC EVO 3D is equipped with dual 5 Megapixel cameras to capture 3D video and 3D still imagesm abd a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. It comes with a 4.3-inch 960×540 3D QHD capacitive touchscreen for glasses-free 3D viewing. The phone captures 2D video at 1080p Full HD resolution and 3D movie at 720p. The EVO 3D supports Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, DLNA streaming and HDMI output.
This new EVO supports Sprint’s WiMax 4G network and offers 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot capability supporting up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously. Sprint is going to release this dual-core 3D-capable 4G Android smartphone this summer.
