AMD introduces the world’s fastest graphics card, the Radeon HD6990 that delivered a new single graphics card world record score of P11865 in the industry standard 3DMark11 benchmark. The new GPU includes AMD’s 2nd gen Microsoft DirectX 11-capable architecture. It features up to 880Mhz engine clock, 5.40 TFLOPs Single Precision compute power and 1.37 TFLOPs Double Precision Compute Power.
The Radeon HD6990 packs 4GB GDDR5 memory with 1250MHz memory clock speed and 320 GB/s memory bandwidth. The card uses PCI Express 2.1 x16 bus interface and supports AMD Eyefinity multi-display technology, Enhanced-Quality Anti-Aliasing (EQAA), AMD EyeSpeed visual acceleration technology, and MD HD3D technology.
